FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does shipping work?

Shipping is coordinated directly after the purchase is made. Once the order is confirmed, we will contact you to define the details according to the customer's location and preference.

We ship throughout Chile, and the cost is paid upon delivery, so it is paid directly when you receive the product.

We dispatch orders as soon as possible, and delivery time usually varies between 2 to 5 business days, depending on the destination.

Once the order has been shipped, you will receive the necessary tracking information.

How do warranties and returns work?

ARVA products have a 2-year warranty for manufacturing defects, extendable to 5 years by registering the product on the official website.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and operational problems under normal use conditions, and does not cover damage from impacts, misuse, wear and tear, or incorrect handling.

To request a warranty, it must be managed through ARVA's official technical service, although we can assist you during the process if you need help.

If the product is under warranty, the repair is free of charge. Otherwise, a paid repair or a replacement alternative may be offered.

Shipping to technical service is handled by the customer. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, ARVA covers the return shipping.

Regarding exchanges or returns, you can contact us to evaluate your case, provided the product is unused and in its original packaging.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments through secure platforms integrated into our site, including bank transfers and other methods available at the time of purchase. All transactions are carried out using systems that guarantee the protection of your data.

Where can I view or pick up the products?

You can view and pick up products at our offices located at Av. Francisco Bilbao 523, Providencia, Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. We recommend coordinating in advance to ensure product availability and better service.

Usage and safety

An avalanche transceiver (DVA) is a safety device that allows people buried under snow to be located in the event of an avalanche. It is key for rescuing and being rescued in critical situations, reducing search time.

It is important to consider that basic mountain safety equipment includes an avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe, and that these products require knowledge and practice for their correct use. We recommend informing yourself and training before heading out, as it is not safe to use them without prior experience.
